About Project

The goal of this project is to create a Jean Monnet module for the BA in engineering programs for Zarqa University. The module will be created in the context of transfer of the EU dynamics and learn from union regulations and remedial actions to educate Jordan’s community about climate change impacts and actions.

The aim of the developed module is to advance European regional climate change response and transfer European expertise to inform local stakeholders and decision –makers. The module is divided into three parts, and with a series of workshops aimed at the wider policy community.

The primary product of the project is a new course added to engineering bachelor program called “EU Climate Change Adaptation” which will include 2 modules “Climate change Impacts on water and environment “and “Climate change economic impacts “, and another course in Law faculty that includes “Climate legislative and regulatory EU actions “. Also, 3 workshops conducted by experts to students and local community over three years.
